Who says you can't make jam on a camp stove? The River’s Edge Rangers discovered that the possibilities are endless, given some determination. They picked local strawberries and learned to make jam the old-fashioned way. The Rangers started by sterilizing jars and lids, then cooked the jam, and finished by reboiling the finished jam-filled jars. Bonus: using several Coleman stoves outdoors helped the Rangers brush up their dormant camping skills. On a related note, how we all long to tent camp, roast marshmallows, and sing campfire songs!
